2012 Yukon, replaced steering rack bushings, had alot of back and forth play, about 1/4" easy.

New Dorman 523-267
Just make sure they are straight before pressing, a few hits with a hammer until they are seated keeping both inline with each other.

Also did the ring bushing at end of rack, OE GM 22960484
Edit to add: There should be some play back and forth, but mine was moving very easily with one tire off the ground, now it takes much more force.
