Not to long ago i was looking up ,where's the best place to own a modified car, etc. South Carolina.
They beat Alabama? Maybe Alabama's just the best place to own a borderline illegal car.

My thoughts exactly. 11 out of 10 trucks and jeeps have them around here. The cops wouldn't have enough tickets.I wasn’t aware of the rule when I installed it, I mean it’s behind my grille. Especially here in So Cal, every prerunner/normal truck has them above the windshield and I’m the one that gets pulled over? Even the judge had no idea what the ticket was for. It is what it is. Just another jack ass law that we deal with here in Cali.

x2. Basically if you're in the south and away from a metro area (especially Atlanta) you can do dang near anything. Wood bumpers, no doors, straight pipes. If you aren't bothering anybody, why should they bother you? Just saying. They beat Alabama? Maybe Alabama's just the best place to own a borderline illegal car.
Your wheel survived?Had to put a new tire on her earlier in the week due to crappy roads sending my tire up into my wheel well and the metal destroyed the tire
With that, I'm tossing around going up in altitude bring the back up an inch above stock and the front about 2 1/2" about stock via a CCM leveling kit and possibly running some 33" tires on my current rims. I'm getting kinda bored anyway so this may have been the event that pushes me in this direction.
yes....just ripped a chunk out of my tire.Your wheel survived?
Sounds awesome, you have my approval to proceed.Had to put a new tire on her earlier in the week due to crappy roads sending my tire up into my wheel well and the metal destroyed the tire
