What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I bought the Femco, it has a different design. It can’t drain until you screw the fitting on that has a hose already attached pointing straight down from the engine. When you screw the hose on, it pushes the plunger in. It also has a brass cap that screws on to the part that’s in the pan, to keep dust out and just makes it look better when not draining oil.View attachment 224706

I did rear brakes and the driver side axle seal over the last couple days. Figured out a easy way to get the top caliper T55 slide bolt out without using cussing GM. Took the bottom bracket bolt out and swung the caliper up, which gave me clearance for a T55 socket. If you have ever done rear discs on a 14bolt you know how frustrating that top bolt is.



Buttoned up with drilled and slotted rotors to match the front.




Pulled the faded door trim off once that was done.



A before pic; they were more of a buttercream color than white...

Yeah, I'd be surprised if it stayed on long. Wasn't as snug as I'd like it to be. But, highly doubt something would make the lever move enough to open it. I like the fact I can attach a small hose to it and drain it instead of just letting it pour out into a pan.

Not the Fomoto brand, but just like it. They use a 5/8 spring clip. A zip tie can also be used.

For users under extreme conditions: If you are using the Engine Oil Drain Valve on off-road vehicles such as farm tractors and logging equipment under extreme environment (i.e. corn fields, brush areas), it is recommended that a hose clip as shown below be used for extra safety and security..

Well, been meaning to do this for a while.. light had a small crack since I bought it, and since I'm lazy and love the carwash, the "forced" water found the crack. Got sick of looking at the condensation.

So anyway I love swapping the tails on these, two screws and some wiring.(screw you GM for the headlight design)
I do have to pull it again, apparently one of the bulbs that came with blew already(cheap chinese bulbs.)
I still haven't put LEDs in the reds back there, maybe I'll do that.

Anyone in NC have use for a RR taillight with a crack and wiring harness.
