What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Where'd you bring the wires through and tie them in?
passenger side I ran up towards the battery and then across the firewall, drivers side up to the front by the master cylinder, I already have a wire patched into the drivers foot kick panel going thru the firewall so I just patched them all together on the drivers side of the master cylinder. I bought those led's months ago I figured I better hook them up before it starts getting to cold to want to do anything. There built on aluminum strips and sealed in acrylic I think, might be glass, weatherproof

I contacted a guy at the Silverado Forum that sells caliper mounting adapters to mount C6 ZO6 brakes onto a GMT800/GMT900 knuckle- would anybody like me to give you his email? Whole upgrade is like 1700ish but the key to being able to do it is these brackets. He says end of October early November is when this next batch should be ready for sale.
How much are the brackets themselves? I might be able to afford this upgrade if I can accumulate it a piece or two at a time, lol. Keep us posted on your progress. I've yet to see in one single place a complete parts list and build log.

It didn't work out well for the OP. Had to grind the spindles, had clearance issues with his wheels, etc. He gave up on it.

It didn't work out well for the OP. Had to grind the spindles, had clearance issues with his wheels, etc. He gave up on it.
I haven’t asked yet. I think it will depend on how much this batch costs. I’m gonna email him again today. OP in that thread had aftermarket spindles and wheels. These brackets are way more precisely built than any others that have been done because Rudy- the guy who has them made hates shims. Will let you know. I’m coming up on needing new brakes on mine. Front rotors are down to minimum thickness.

Shims are a necessity on big brake kits. Even companies like Wildwood and Brembo use them because of the differences from one vehicle to another.

This is very true! Will post many pics when i have them.

This is very true! The people on the silverado platform seemed to not need them most of the time. I will have some on hand just in case, but hopefully not need them.

It is my understanding that NNBS brakes bolt onto the NBS correct?
