What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Picked up a 10 suburban, tried putting on some ram 18”s but they won’t fit due the BBK already installed. Prefer the 18’s than the 20”’s it’s on now. Looks like going back to stock rotors and pads[/GALLERY]

I do have to admit it looks a MILLION times better without that shit back there. Even with the holes plugged.

Ok now that the wiper motor is unplugged and removed the rear glass won’t unlatch. I knew the wiring was related between the 2 parts. Does anybody have a wiring schematic for the rear tailgate?


Of course I did not realize this until everything was put back together. ****...

My guess it wont open no matter what you do until the wiper motor is replaced and wiper arm is installed properly in the parked position, it's a safety interlock so you can't open the rear glass and then whack yourself with the wiper arm in the process.

Just replaced my ISS and started on the Dorman Y/coolant lines.

Is there some trick to get the line off from the firewall? I just watched a video and he got it off pretty quickly but, mine will not budge. Is there a tool to help the removal ?

I apply pressure to the locking tabs then push in on the fitting, towards the firewall. This relieves the tension on the tabs and they push in much more easily. If you push in too far, you pass the point where the tension is released and you put them in a bind again. So you have to squeeze them first then push in on the fitting. As soon as they pop in, then you stop pushing inward and continue to hold them in as you gently twist and pull out. Works every time, easy peasy. You can do it with one hand if you have decent pinching strength in your fingers. You can use long-reach 90° needle-nosed pliers, too.

I could never get those dam things loose I got 1 off 1 time only, fought with it and fought with it, then said **** you snip snip and off it came.
