What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Two things =
Its nice to be able to get in and out of the Tahoe without hearing that ridiculous grinding from the jacked up door pin.
What a relief to not hear that clunking in the steering after replacing the ISS. Lock to lock without a grind or a clunk, nice.

My guess it wont open no matter what you do until the wiper motor is replaced and wiper arm is installed properly in the parked position, it's a safety interlock so you can't open the rear glass and then whack yourself with the wiper arm in the process.

Sounds reasonable. I will pull everything apart again and plug the motor in to confirm. I may have to “phantom mount’ the motor in the door panel somehow until I can get my hands on a wire diagram and find a way to bypass it.

that "might" work IF the wiper was still in the parked position when you unplugged it and if you don't accidentally turn on the rear wiper and throw it out of whack.

Theoretically the motor should return to the self park position by itself shouldn't it? Of course we are getting thunderstorms so this should be fun.

without the parking stop being there not sure, people have had problem with the rear glass not opening and it is usually because of the rear wiper not in the correct position, happened to me on my nbs these are the same design mechanically.
