This is exactly what I was referring to in my original post. I'd prefer to use a relay that is sensitive to the correct voltage than an adjustable timed relay. I'll search around for the Jatronx one you mentioned. Thanks.
ETA: Just did some research on the Jatronx voltage sensitive relays. It seems from reading a member of HIDPlanet's forum that all I would have to do is simply replace the relay(s) that come with my Morimoto kit with these voltage sensitive relays. Its as simple as that. Using these relays I could then remove the resistor I installed which disabled my automatic headlights.
