I see. Thanks for the tip.

This is exactly what I was referring to in my original post. I'd prefer to use a relay that is sensitive to the correct voltage than an adjustable timed relay. I'll search around for the Jatronx one you mentioned. Thanks.

ETA: Just did some research on the Jatronx voltage sensitive relays. It seems from reading a member of HIDPlanet's forum that all I would have to do is simply replace the relay(s) that come with my Morimoto kit with these voltage sensitive relays. Its as simple as that. Using these relays I could then remove the resistor I installed which disabled my automatic headlights. Here's a link to the thread about the Jatronx relays for anyone interested.

Correct. If the relays you are replacing at 4 prong, then you won't have the "override" functionality of the Jatronx relay. If you're replacing a 5 prong, then the extra wire (pin 87a I think) will act as the override and latch the relay no matter what the sensing voltage is. (I did not have either option as my H13 bixenons use a controller as the relay. I wired mine in between the fuse panel and the headlight plug.) Check the Jatronx description for the specifics.

Awesome. Thanks, man. Answers exactly what I needed to know.
