Thanks! It's a work in progress (see my album).

Engine and drivetrain are bone stock on stock wheels. Only mechanical changes are new GM fuel pump and GM fuel filter.

Welcome to the forum, I've been on Corvette Forum for a long time and enjoyed all your posts, cars and guns!

I actually ordered a small amount from ebay just to see if I could do it and I really like how it looks! and it helped me cause my drivers side switch panel was cracked in half and now its strong as ever!.

@slipping
this was my first time doing any kinda glass work per say and I think I may have the bug! gonna order more and see what else I can cover!

@monstar
yes the bezel is gonna be a bear but before I do it I might order the double din stuff so I can kill two birds with one stone?

Here is box outta .100" flat stock carbon I made to go in the spot I removed 6 disc changer from. I still need to sand edges and corners, throw a few wet tapes down and resin wipe the outside. Then I'm gonna throw some leds in it w/ a switch for when you open lid then maybe a USB conection as well.

992dr - I love this site for all my ideas

kaoticlife - don't remember what I grabbed. Its 11 plys. I wiped the inside with 7500 resin. I'm gonna get a couple gallons of magnabond 6367 resin on Tuesday and if you were closer I'd hook you up with some.

Put my 99 Tahoe on the dyno. It made a whopping 155rwhp...

Do a standard tune-up with cap, rotor, wires and plugs. Then clean your maf sensor and replace (or clean) your air filter, then change your oil. Bet you'll get over 200 with that.

Finally got the real roof rack mounts for my Tahoe.

Where'd you get those and what brand are they?

It's a Surco rack and mounts, the mounts I got off of ebay someone had them for half price of what they are new.

Surco S5060 Safari Rack 50'X60' is the rack I bought
Surco 1101 are the rack mounts retail is around 140ish way too much for me

Here is a better look at my rack on my last 2 door. I do not recommend using u-bolts they didn't work out at all on my trip to Moab.

I found this basket I'd rather have and it was much cheaper than my setup

:chewie: Thanks. I have a big-cammed LS3 waiting to drop into this bad boy - completely impractical, I know, but I didn't buy it to get groceries :)
