if going full rollers I strongly suggest you get the screw in rocker stud modification. you are asking for problems if you don't. and if 1.6 get your push rod holes in head elongated. do the rocker work, maybe 1.5 to avoid the head issues, but keep the emissions equipment in place. it is not worth cutting it out. just make sure everything is in working order and have them scan tune it and reevaluate again with a scan to fine tune it. you can achieve what you want with everything working. a kn fipk would not be a bad addition for you either. you will be more than happy with all that.

Yeah, I'm 6'5" and right around 300 pounds of "muscly goodness." As uncomfortable as I was when I was done with my trip, still felt better than any other vehicle I've had before.

deleting all the emissions will actually decrease fuel economy. it might be more of a pain in the ass to work around. Only thing i would delete would be the cats. Id keep the egr and such

Well I've already blocked off the egr because it was sticking open and I didn't have the cash at the time to replace it ($150?!) so I made up a little plate from gasket material and rtv and it ran better and with better economy than before, so I haven't bothered with it since. The cats on mine are starting to plug up so it's time to hack them off. So I'm going to have Black Bear remove the egr programming and the second set of O2 sensors for the cats. Already have the K&N filter, looking to get a CAI for it soon.
