Create a block off plate using cardstock and high temp rtv, save yourself money and get better performance to boot. I've run mine like that for 4 years now with no issues.

I don't think I understand all the way. Is this basically and egr delete? I'm not quite completely mechanically inclined yet. Only know my basics around a 350 lol

Yup, egr delete pretty much. You'll need to make the blank gasket where the egr mounts to the motor (front dead center right next to the water spout/thermostat housing)

Some will advise against doing this because you might experience pinging and what not, but in 4 years I haven't at all in all conditions and grades of fuel. If you do get dreaded ping, you'll need to either commit to a higher grade of gas or put a new egr on. Fuel economy was pretty much unaffected, but power improved as did the smoothness on acceleration. Mind you though, the check engine light will always be on from now on... so if that's an issue, don't do it. I don't care and put my scan tool on it once a month or so for any new codes, of which I get an O2 sensor once a blue moon, otherwise, life is peachy.

Put a new idler pulley on.

Put some coolant in it. I hope the intake gaskets aren't leaking again. :(

Put Mean Green's Big 4 wiring kit and his Headlight harness on today. Both are great mods. Also changed my fuel pump assembly since my fuel gauge no longer worked. Only hiccup was Amazon sent me the wrong one (apparently the 4 door fuel pump assembly is different) and its too late to send back. Fortunately my local advance auto had a 2 dr type in stock and its now back operational.

If anyone needs a fuel pump assembly new Delco for a 99 4 door tahoe, LMK.

Got a SES light a few days ago, checked it out today, got a P0141, O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 2). Also tested my G80, which not surprisingly, doesn't work. :banghead:

I installed a K2500 power steering Box on my 1996 tahoe. The bore on the Tahoe box is 3 " and the 95 K2500 Burb had a 3.5" bore.

I also only had high speed blower so I replaced the resistor pack and now it all works.

Last I installed some of these LED 194 bulbs in my map lights and what a difference that made. http://www.amazon.com/Sylvania-2825-Premium-White-LEDriving/dp/B00AIJY2ZM I got mine at Autozone a bit pricey at $10 but %100 worth it

I just ordered a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X797 receiver and 4 Kicker 6.75" speakers for the Yukon. Looking forward to a much better sound!

I tried to upgrade the speakers in my wife's Acura, but Crutchfield doesn't sell a single speaker to fit her car. Grrr!
