Yup, egr delete pretty much. You'll need to make the blank gasket where the egr mounts to the motor (front dead center right next to the water spout/thermostat housing)
Some will advise against doing this because you might experience pinging and what not, but in 4 years I haven't at all in all conditions and grades of fuel. If you do get dreaded ping, you'll need to either commit to a higher grade of gas or put a new egr on. Fuel economy was pretty much unaffected, but power improved as did the smoothness on acceleration. Mind you though, the check engine light will always be on from now on... so if that's an issue, don't do it. I don't care and put my scan tool on it once a month or so for any new codes, of which I get an O2 sensor once a blue moon, otherwise, life is peachy.
