Ha! Sorry. For the Yukon, I went with what their adviser recommended. He said that the depth was an issue, and the Kickers were shallow.

I don't know what the Acura stock sizes are. I spent some time a while back, and it seemed that it was an impedance issue more than a speaker size issue. It's a 2007 RDX base (no tech package).

Impedance shouldn't be an issue if you are replacing the radio as well though. What is the impedance on the stock radio?

The RDX doesn't have a DIN type radio. It's integrated into the center of the dash; I'm not willing to spend the money on having that thing replaced.

I dropped it off last night to have the transmission serviced and the differentials and transfer case fluids changed. Ordered a new Air Lift system today with the single controller and compressor kit from AutoAnything.

The weekend of the 11th is going to be busy with the new stereo/speakers installation and the air bag installation.

unknown at this time.
Had it towed 28 miles to home after an apparent and sudden ping, throw in a P0341 code and stall and will not restart did down shift to first to land in between live traffic and an off ramp. Engine braking sounded normal and correct. Got fuel pressure and spark although it looks a bit on on the spark tester. Will align the #1 at tdc and check the dizzy alignment, rotate crank twice and check again. If okay I can presume crank to chain to cam to dizzy to oil pump is all good. I can build up oil pressure cranking so the mechanical is turning. That would leave the cam sensor but the vehicle is supposed to be able to start with out it. In the meantime I am renting a 2013 dodge caravan. Tight fit but I think it will work for me.

Just picked mine up from having the transmission, transfer case and both differentials serviced. Ready to do a little off-roading this weekend if I can find some decent places where we're staying.

My truck decided it was cold, so it started a fire. :sad72:

My rag under the hood got loose and found the exhaust manifold.:Stupid Me:

It probably would have burned to the ground, but I put it out with a fire extinguisher that I carry.;)

New plug wires, booster hose, reservoir cap, and taped up a few wires to get it back up and running again. Gotta make a trip to the junkyard to replace some other melted parts.

And that's why everyone should carry a fire extinguisher. Glad you didn't see it burn to the ground
