Removed the protective salt coating, and installed my HID low beams from ddm tuning, finished my new power ports for the nbs center console and mounted them, started prepping the rest of the console for paint

I've got to get my front main seal fixed. It isn't leaking enough to make more than a few more drops a week when sitting, but when it's running it must be leaking quite a bit because I'm having to add oil every 500 miles or so. I don't see any evidence that the truck is burning oil.

3" outlet? I guess that wont work with the stock dual pipe flange. I didnt plan on replacing the cat back.

This? It looks like it would work with the stock flange.

None in your other fluids right?

I checked the transmission this morning and it's nice and clean and red. Where else could it go? My thinking was that it was leaking more when running and under pressure. I know the area directly under the front is soaked in oil, but your question got me thinking about other possibilities.

I read last night about what the front main seal job entails. Some said to loosen the front of the pan; some say to drop the pan. I read about dropping the pan, and that seems to be beyond my capabilities if I really have to drop the front differential, etc. I thought this thing would be easier to work on when I bought it; I guess I thought wrong again.

I've got shop around and find a good, reputable shop that can do this for less than the $1k that was quoted. I simply can't afford that much, but I also can't head cross country in May having a leak like this.
