have the wave forms of front and back sensors looked at first. if rear sensor level is low and flat then the sensor may be the issue. if it is active and looks like the same kind of activity as the front then the cat is likely the issue. and you can just bolt on new complete cat assemblies if you like.

I'm going to take a peek underneath it first to see if the new sensor worked itself loose; hopefully that is the case and I fix it. If not, I'm taking it in Wednesday for an oil leak fix and I'll see if they can scan it then.

Got some freeway miles on the new motor. Only about 60 miles, but still good to see how it performs at freeway speeds. Cruising at ~70mph, just under 2k RPM, just purring along.
I need to adjust the timing a little further to get it closer to 0. It has a little issue of pinging when I step on the throttle to pass someone when cruising at about 60-65. Before it kicks down in gear it starts pinging..

Sank it yesterday. Hopefully have it out today or tomorrow.

Oops is right! Are your nerf bars heavy-duty enough to act as rock sliders? I've looked at the website but can't get a feel for how sturdy they are, particularly the mounts.

Its not in mud, its in water. The other side is what sank down. If I didn't I have an open rear diff it probably wouldn't have happened.

They bolt to the rockers, so probably not strong enough to act as rock sliders.

Mine is up on the rack getting an alignment. The shop called and said the ball joint boots are cracking. He said they aren't worn, but I'll have to be vigilant with greasing them and keeping an eye on them.

He told me that just the boots can't be replaced and I'd have to replace the whole thing when they're ready. The "Energy Suspension 3.18124 Hyperflex Master Kit" says it includes ball joint dust boots. Is that something different?

Put a new belt and tensioner on the other day after work. It'd been squeaking all winter and driving me nuts.
