Pulled my exhaust to weld in the wide band and fix a few pinholes. Got the fuel tank out for a New pump strainer and sender, who knew that a 98 pump was basically a nbs unit?

Redoing the entire interior...all the little details I didn't think about until I'm taking pieces off..
visors have to be redone
Seat belts have to match
Console (overhead) will have to be upholstered

Oh the joy that awaits

How are you going to do the visors? I just finished my headliner the other day and the visors are much more faded9147216a8e33dd3bdcb2a5b4295580b0.jpg

Fwiw I'm very pleased with the fabric from stockinteriors.com

I haven't gotten that far yet. I'll get some extra fabric but might just take it to an upholsterer. I'm a crappy seamstress... What are you going to do?

Not sure either lol. I've got one apart and it's kind of like a manila folder in the way the backer board is. I'm thinking I'll cover it, tuck the edges, and have someone with a big sewing machine run a have stitch around the outside edge, then slip the insert back in

These guys did exactly what I was thinking of doing, except I'd leave an end open for the extension to slide into

That seems awful. I'm not even sure what type of fabric to use for them. I'm ordering new carpet and new headliner but neither of those seem like they'll work for making new visors. Have to do more research

Who'd you buy your headliner from? I've been looking at the stockinteriors.com. doesn't seem there's a ton of options out there.

That's where I got mine, they will send you color samples for free, I got the 3.5 yard, extra wide kit, cost like 120 shipped and included the adhesive. Removing old crap was the hard part,I ended up using a 3m white rolloc disc on an air grinderb6a1af6e539eebd17890765430adadc9.jpg

Blew it off and washed it with alcohol and started glueing be patient and work in small areas, the hardest parts will be the rear Gump going into the cargo area and the side where the c pillars are
