What does the blue connection do?

Starting to think I just bought the wrong head unit for what I wanted. I wanted to play stuff to the rear screen while having carplay up front. This doesn't have anything to switch any A/V outputs to different zones.

Okay confirmed it doesn’t have dual output but I don’t really care about that because it allows display to the rear screen while having car play up front

I simply had to use the av in and not the hdmi in

CarPlay in front and my laptop to the middle screen

I will just need to wire up the rear screen now and I think I’m good with this head unit it fits my needs

Now fighting static noise issue even with volume all the way down

I think I forgot the amp adapter that comes with the harness.

I swear my engine swap was easier than all this

I am thinking ill take it to a stereo shop for that last part. I think there's also a way to join them under the head liner

Still doing it even after amp adapter was connected. Does not do it with stock head unit. It’s not something I can live with so I’ll call around Monday for answers
