What kind of sub would you recommend?

Sorry to hear about the ticket. Try the best buy. At least if you don't like it or it dosent fit how you like you can return it easily.

Great question. Has anyone upgrade their bose audio system? I'm looking to add two subs and 1 amp.... Any advice?

Also, if I get a sub installed, will it effect the bose audio options?

I picked up my 12" ARC sub for about that range. I forget the model... 12D4, maybe (4 ohm). I've been using these ARC subs for years after moving from JL audio (still use JL amps, though). I now have a single 12" in my Escalade and that thing will darn near blur my vision if I turn the bass up. I rarely have it that heavy anymore... enjoy the tight quality of the bass that doesn't need to be incredibly loud. If I remember right the 12D4's are discontinued for something new which is why they are a somewhat inexpensive now. I did a search on an audio forum and found someone that had a couple dozen in stock when I bought this one.
