What muffler is everyone running?

Flowmaster Super 50 on my 08 Kon, with the resonator re-welded in place. I'm still kind of on the fence about having it taken off. Great sound at idle, you can tell it's not stock, but it's not super loud....unless you mash on the peddle in traffic. I kind of want it louder though, but not much louder.

We have a FM 44 on the truck and it's dumped, without the resonator, it's REALLY loud and it drones.

If you want it a little louder but not too loud remove the resonator but still have the exhaust routed out the side behind the rear tire and you'll get what you want

On the 5.3 is it a 2.5 inch or a 3 inch pipe for the muffler?

Yeah, I want to keep it where it is, I just want it a hair louder. The idle rumble sounds great. I know it sounds different because I always get the head turn when I go through parking lots.

I find people in general want to speed up when I try to pass them and I don't know why but it drives me crazy. Then the wife gives me a look when I stomp on it to really let them hear the noise as I still pass them

People do that just because. I get that, too. My personal favorite is changing lanes to get behind them and they brake, or they change lanes and cut me off, then brake.

I'm keeping it stock on my 6.2. It has a little rumble and I like the quietness.

Im not 100% on the model # - I will look it up if you're interested - but this is my 5.3 with a Magnaflow and the resonator removed.
