One other thing I always keep in my truck that I forgot to mention. I have a first aid kit sitting in the rear side panel. Has basic first aid stuff like several different sized band aids, gauze pads and gauze rolls, medical tape, elastic wound wrap, some rubber gloves, wound cleanser, peroxide, and a few other things I'm sure I'm forgetting. I can't tell you how many times I have had either myself or else the wife or one of the kids get a cut or scrape and need a band aid. I also keep some Tylenol and ibuprofen in there as well.
This reminds me of something else I need to add to my kit, some insect sting relief gel. I don't know the name of it, but it comes in a plastic tube about the size of Chapstick and helps tremendously when stung by a bee or any other stinging insect. Last time I was camping I wish I would have had that.

This stuff?

Yup. Told my son I'd give it to him. I'll let him have all the fun!

That's a lot of car for a youngin! My brother hopped in my father's and ran over the family dog and when we bought him a T-Type, he quickly wrapped it around a tree. I was no angel either, we put hundreds of thousands of miles and thousands of 1/4 miles passes on those cars. At one point we had 5, our own little GS Nationals in the driveway!

Ohh, speaking of stings, for you fellas who boat, we always kept a spray bottle with vinegar in it. Neutralizes the stings from the various sea creatures, even flying skeeters too. Some would rather grimace in pain than smell like a salad though!

Lol, my son is 26 now, and I'm not giving it to him for a few more years. He'll be an old man by then!

Didn't know they had that, thanks! Better than carrying around a 4-way tire iron!
I have a collapsible 4way from Walmart....i know what your thinking but wait...... i had an 83 w250 that i parted out, i pull the 8 lug rears (reason for me calling them 8 lugs, just wait) with tires on that haven’t been off in 10-15 years. They sat around for another 2 years...(NY salt and rust remember). Had to dump them because we sold the house and didnt want to take unnecessary stuff with me but i wanted the rims and my compressor and everything else was at new house already.... I grabbed that collapsible 4way from Walmart (hehe) and removed all 32 lugs as if they were on the truck not jacked up and off yesterday... true story....

I do like @ScottyBoy and have a 24" breaker with a socket for mine under the seat. Also jumper cables, the scan tool, flashlight, a sweatshirt, and an extra pair of contact lenses. There are also always assorted tools in the back...

I keep a small toolbox with all the standard stuff, I also keep a code reader in the glove box for just in case, but most importantly I carry an IFAK and a pistol.

I used to keep my breaker bar under the third row seat, but I now I store it inside the side panel where the factory jack is stored. I slipped an old sock over each end of the breaker bar to cover it so that way it doesn't rattle or make any noise when I'm driving. I just pop that plastic cover off and I slide it right up in there alongside the pouch with the factory spare tire tools.
