I had my old muffler cut out and a flowmaster super 10 welded in and I love it, but if you don't like cab drone then I wouldn't suggest this because drone is very bad but I like itwhat exhaust setups you guys suggest/ i hear alot of good things about magnaflow. i figured might be better tok work backwards, upgrade exahuasr to be readt for headers and better intake?

That's exactly what I mean. But when I get tired of it I have 2 12" subs to take care of thatdo you mean you can hear the thing humming from inside the car? dont care about that. badass truck for the win!

Throttle body spacers are a waste of money. They don't do anything on a fuel injected motor. Also most cold air intakes are crap too. Get an Airaid Jr, High flow filter and exhaust. For starters. Then a tune. If you have some cash get a cam before you tune. That setup will really wake up your 5.3. Everybody here recommends Blackbear tunes. I am pre-tune but plan on it as soon as I get my cam.
Aw shit your kidding. Seems like such a brilliant solution.... thats too bad.
You must have miss understood. Everything I mentioned engine and drivetrain wise is a full build. Didn't think I would have to go into full detail here, just messing around some, some guys take things too serious. But, I always forget about the computers, but yes a full tune no matter who tunes it would be needed. Blackbear would be coo but there are speed shops everywhere that can do the same. As for throttle bodies and CAI, thinking back as I mentioned for a turbo charged unit. It really doesn't matter what you want for a air intake bc it will most likely be a strait shot from air filter into the turbo. And for throttle body, it would be needed as well.
Saying that CAI and throttle bodies are useless on fuel injected is wrong. Spacers are also necessary sometimes, but not for a basic bolt on like most people buy them for, so yes in that case useless. Those three things go hand in hand when dealing with turbo charged builds. Whoever tunes it will let you know if you want to add a bigger throttle body or spacer in order to get the
right Air2Fuel ratio in order to get the most HP and boost out of your build.
