It's very hard to explain but I know this is definately not normal, I am trying to care of one issue at a time which is why I keep posting different things every few weeks :)

Basically I can "feel" the road as if it were right there. Not sure how much is normal for a gearbox system. Obviously there is a steering shaft going straight to the front of the car so you are going to feel stuff but it seems a lot worse than it should be.

I hit a dip and the dashboard went shaking up and down, seems like it might fall off, hah.

Any ideas? I don't think there's a shock system for the steering is there? I seriously doubt the steering damper controls this since it's the road I'm feeling.

Not sure what all you've done already but:

for dash: make sure the 3 hold down bolts on the top of the dash near the base of the windshield are tight. Push in on the dash with one hand while you carefully see if they are snug. A lot of times the dash will crack around these bolts. Walking J Designs and LMC sell a reinforcement kit to help with this.

for steering: Check for excessive play in the pitman arm, idler arm and tie rods.
