Hello all,
I'm planning on putting some LEDs in the 3 cubbies in my 2004's front dash (under and next to the air controls). I'm hoping to splice into the giant stream of wires that run under the cup holders. I really don't want to pull the radio out and splice into there or anything. I have an SLT that's nearly fully loaded if that helps. So which wire would it be? It'd be cool if I could splice into a wire that would allow the LEDs to be dimmed with everything else. Thanks guys!

Well you could go through the fuse block. I my self ran through the main fuse panel from the 12 volt post through a 5 amp fuse to a relay to a separate rheostat rheostat switch so I can dim the led's with out loosing dash lights.Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply! I was hoping for a little closer location I could connect to... I'm only planning on putting a small amount of LEDs in. And it doesn't neccessarily need to dim. It'd be nice though.

Don't the cup holders have lighting in them? I know my '02 Denali has lights in there. If not, you just have to find the nearest interior light. Use a voltmeter or a 12v. test light to figure it out.
