Which looks better -- chrome handles, or black?

Chrome matches the wheels, but I think black goes with the truck better

I've always thought that chrome handles "require" the chrome BSM strip ('09+). Now, I'm thinking that the reverse might also be true -- that the chrome strip should be accompanied by chrome handles.

The all-black look works for me, although it's not what I'm after (at least not at the moment. haha). Right now, with the black handles, I feel like I've interrupted a theme that was working pretty well...

Yeah you kinda have interrupted the theme. It doesn't look so good, in my opinion. I wish they made those black AND chrome handles, kinda like what you see on the 2010 Cadillac SRX. They're body colored with a chrome trim around them.

What did you do with your roof rack and LED's btw? I still haven't bought a set of new tails and the Denali ones are starting to look weird to me.

Actually, I've seen where someone on here mixed a set of white and chrome handles. I guess you can separate the middle handle section from the ends/backing, leaving you two tone handles. Could look cool on black, too!

Still have them, but am really considering selling them. I think I prefer the look of the mostly-black Denalis on the black truck. If I sell them, at least the buyer will know he's getting ones that work!

Oh yeah, like the Z71's? They have black on the outside and chrome (or aluminum, idk) on the actual pull-handle. It looks cool!

I might be that buyer then. :D
What price would you be selling them at?

Thanks for the replies, folks. I went back to the chrome handles. It just didn't feel right with the black (at least not while I have the lower chrome mirror pieces on, which I do like). Now the truck feels right again. :)

Thanks again!

Although, in your case, with the moulding and shit, the chrome looks better... chrome would look like shit on my truck

Black...why draw attention to something as mundane as door handles...

That's the way I usually feel, especially with fuel doors (oh, and the Pep Boys door trim piping that some people run down every seem of the car). But, since there's no hard shoulder line down the truck, the chrome handles just work with the chrome BSM.

My sis' Suburban has chrome handles and no chrome strip atop the BSMs. The handles just kind of float in space in that situation. But, I like them with the chrome strip.
