Hi
I purchased a suburban in March, dealer said the heated steering wheel, parking sensors and something else was going to be retrofitted in the 2nd quarter of this year. It is now going in the 4th quarter and the dealer has no idea, but the 2023's have these parts he said. I feel this is not the way they should be handling this, people that purchased 22's paid for these parts and I had the dealer put everything on paper signed. It is not the dealer it is chevy, I called chevy twice and they just keep saying I need a order# to check? The dealer said there is no order number, when they send the parts that is it and they will let me know. Does anyone have a different customer support number other than the call in centers? Has anyone had any luck getting some answers or a eta? I get that we are in maritime law and a lot of countries ships cannot cross the border but the 2023's seem exactly the same and they had to get those chips and parts from somewhere.

Still missing my rear park assist that is supposed to be retrofitted
GM sources parts from all over the world but still probably nothing to do with any embargo, Chingchongching is still on lockdowns, ports are jammed up, christmas stuff is sitting off the coast waiting to offload, railroad is about to go on strike, supply chain is ***** and inflation is around 25% no matter what who says what.

This is what I was told.
the dealership wanted the letter and the vin number of the vehicle. They would order the parts specifically for the customers car.

Blue interceptor is right. I got my letter from GM for my heated rear seats in my 2022 Silverado HC. I text my salesman a picture of the paper, they called GM gave the vin and they r sending the parts. Dealer will call me when parts come in. I guess if anyone wants to try it themselves here’s the phone number that was listed on my paper, it’s just a customer service number. But I believe everything needs to be done by your dealer using your vin and their parts contact thru GM. I’m the first to go thru the process/receive a letter at my dealer for a retro fit so they were actually pleased to see that’s how it works.
