Why is there no underhood light in a Tahoe?

How would we ever walk in the garage barefoot in the pitch black without the iPhone flashlight app??

I don't have an iPhone. My simple phone has text messaging blocked and no data plan.

But I do have three Pelican flashlights that each cost way over $100.00 each. I like my heavy-duty professional flashlights that can be used as a blunt-force deadly weapon if necessary.
