Wondering if anyone who has done this big brake swap, also did the Hydroboost AND the bigger master cylinder upgrade?
As a comparison... The stock squishy brakes on the NBS 1500 came with a 1.125" master cylinder and vacuum brakes to push 8 brake pistons (4 front and 4 rear), while the NBS Escalade came with Hydroboost AND a bigger 1.33" master cylinder, even though it had the same amount of pistons (also 4 front and 4 rear).
Further, the 2019+ Silverado comes stock with Hydroboost and a 1.31" master cylinder to push 10 brake pistons (8 front and 2 rear).
So, if we are aiming to push 12 brake pistons (8 front and 4 rear) in our NBS 1500's, wouldn't it make sense to increase the master cylinder to the Escalade 1.33" master cylinder (should bolt right in) AND upgrade to Hydroboost to closer match what those ass bigger calipers have pushing them in the 2019+ Silverado?
