I'm a new owner of the Tahoe line....but I do also have a '64 Chevy that has always been solid though the original motor is long gone and that is a 50 year old truck....so maybe not a fair comparison. My 1999 Olds was a lemon. The '04 Tahoe seems tough, but it is having some weird electrical issues. However....I'm gonna go with my heart and my '64 and say GM is not fragile.
