Thanks dude…. i can’t wait to get this thing back.

Spoke to Audio guy…. That should be up next. Nothing super crazy. 6/4/1 3-way components, 10” woofer, 1-2 amps, and a nice head unit. Nothing else.

Don't need much for a single cab truck. That should be perfect. I had a similar set up in my S10 back in the day. The thing hit pretty hard for a pretty modest system.

Just wrapping up the steering flaws from ECI and then tune the suspension, align, and she’s coming home.

Sneak peak…

by far, my favorite body style of gm pickup. I had a 98 back in 05. lowered with 22s. Factory optioned with leather, 3.73 gear with g80. Single cab short bed. It had been wrecked but I'm friends with the guy that fixed it. Painted all over and was super straight.

Nothing compared to the 454ss but I regret selling that truck. Its floating around still and still looks great, even after all these years.

Heres the only pic I have of it. ****** old flip phone cell pic. Wanted billets but back then, a 22" billet was way out of my budget:(

I believe the tailgate was getting buffed so it wasn't on the truck.

if only we knew what we know now... I would have kept my 1997 and my 2006. Ive always been a fan of the OBS, but my 2006 was my fav.

I need to stay off the internet tho. I just came across this article for this 454SS and I want the same engine bay. All blacked out, new serpentine setup, electric fans, etc. So clean. Just no orange, god no! Maybe a charcoal gray or something in place of the orange on the valve covers, but this thing is sick. https://fuelcurve.com/oj-454-ss-chevy/

NBS is my second favorite. They are much nicer trucks as far as comfort and hope to build a crew cab one day.

That engine bay is clean. I also like the instrument cluster.

I cant remember, did they switch from the circular gauges in 1990 or 1991? My dad had an '89 step side when I was a little kid. I thought that style speedo was coolest thing ever. I was born in '87 and he sold that truck in '91 when his new '92 came in (I was VERY young). I cried when he sold that truck. My dad still tells that story to this day.
