Hello everyone, I'll tell you a little background. I have a 2022 Yukon with a 6.2-liter engine that I drive very fast, it's normal for me to drive on the highway at 100-110 miles per hour for several hours in a row, or ride with a boat or jet ski on a trailer at 90-95 miles per hour. My oil is 0-20, I change it every 7,500 miles. The total mileage at the time of the last oil change was 75 thousand miles. Every oil change in the service, they cut the oil filter for me to look for chips or metal.
Well, now the story itself. My family and I were going to go to the city of Saratov, which is about 1000 km from Moscow, of which 500 km runs along the expressway, and 500 more on intercity roads.about 1,500 km before the departure, I changed the oil again, and cut the filter, everything was in perfect condition, no chips or metal particles. In general, we drove off, going out on the highway, I turned on the cruise at a speed of 150 km/h, which is about 95 mph, as I have done more than once.
Nothing foreshadowed trouble. The M12 is an awesome highway, we almost reached the city of Arzamas in one go.Suddenly, for no reason, the car, going on a cruise of 150 kmh, began to shift gears down, increasing the speed, first to 3000, then it became 3500, then 4000, and then 4500 rpm, I press the cruise reset button, and the car abruptly switches to N automatic transmission, and it goes out, the interior is dark, the lights are out, the appliance is out. I turn on the emergency light and roll to the curb, as soon as the car stops, it immediately goes into the Parking Lot, and does not move. I'm trying to start it, the engine is spinning a little and there's nothing else.I thought the battery was dead because the car showed the only error was a low battery charge.I understand that there are no options, we need to return to Moscow, and I started calling a tow truck. And since I also have a trailer, I have two tow trucks. In an hour and a half, tow trucks arrive from Arzamas.
And we start loading the cars. And here comes the first problem. The car is in the parking lot, the rear wheels are locked (it's good that I'm driving in the back)Therefore, the guys put metal rollers under the wheels, and dragged the car with the rear wheels locked.
