Replaced a couple of the steering wheel control switches with the Dorman ones from Rock Auto (the photo lighting is not great):

Easy enough to do these two: disconnect the negative battery cable, pop the airbag off and disconnect it, and use a small hooked pick to pull them out and release the connectors. Taking the airbag off gave me an opportunity to push the wires into the tunnels to help push the switches out of the cavity.

I put the old (OE) ones up for free in the For Sale section:

Those are shaped differently than the Tahoe headlights aren't they? Do they fit the fenders and hood? I know the grill is shaped different for sure.
I believe they do, but my wife has been difficult, so I haven't been able to put the ones on her Suburban that I have. But I believe a "bubble eye is a bubble eye" -- nothing else really matters. :) If you are in the DFW area, I'd be happy to let you test fit mine.

I have a 05 tahoe and Denali and I don't see how those headlights would fit each other.
Also used headlights will have the problem of old lenses and you will have to polish them every so often.

I put these on my tahoe, they work good install was easy. I don't drive at night but when I do it's nice to be able to see.

R&R right rear axle seal. The spider gears fell out so I learned how to put them back in...
I did learn if you can't get the c clip out easily put a c clamp on the axle and use it to push the axle in a little bit.
Put new gear oil in also changed the engine oil and filter and installed some wire loom on the big bundle of wires after removing what was left of the original loom. Also painted the fender brace it has a little bit of corrosion forming.
