Just a thought..... Since there are 3 or 4 (? ) versions of a ZW7 package, for the same type model, ( as per my research )..... Maybe check at your local dealer, for the parts used in those versions, and copy it, into the truck in question.
Use GM parts or an aftermarket with the same specs.

You could look into ACDelco springs. Part 45H2165 is standard spring with Nivomats, 45H2164 is HD spring or z71. I installed 45H2165 and new Nivomats on my 03 Tahoe years ago and kept factory ride height.

This is one of the reasons I stayed with Nivomats - didn't want the rear to raise up any, which is a common result based on reading here about the conversion. Good luck.

I believe, the "raising up", is when you were towing or carried a heavy weight,.. then it returns back to the correct height, after removing the trailer weight.
I think what @mattbta is saying is that a CONVERSION deleting the Nivomats would raise the truck's ass end, due to new springs. All the time.

No, I think it means that he's happy with the height that the Nivomats give it, and he doesn't want to jack it up higher. If it was too low, why would he not do the conversion? You're overthinking this.

Right - the conversion raises the rear unloaded height compared to my zw7/g65.
