I put the filter in mine many moons ago, but I still get this very dirty smell switching between AC and vent.
Need to clean the evaporator one of these days.
After I cleaned all my battery connections and got the new starter battery put in, mine sounds about like that, but I'm still going to put the new 1.7 KW in sooner or later.
Just rang the old girl out out for ~35Mi through the mountains, a long time in 2nd gear between 3-6k rpm.
Only the second time I've been on that road, and the first time at night.
Figures, got stuck behind a convertible mustang for quite some time, going well under the speed limit and hang...
I found the 1.7 KW 11t starters when I searched for the 6.2L

Also, with just the vent fan running, did you notice it pulling in hotter air than ambient afterwords?

I cut mine straight across instead so it's only plastic visible still.
The skid plate I'm not sure.
It was a cat for the other day, it's already downgraded to a tropical storm. And by the time it gets here it will probably still be 50 miles east of me. But this is the first hurricane that the West Coast has seen in about a hundred years and it was supposed to dump a stupid amount of rain and...
