That i don't know about. I have a lt and with a trailer that weighs no more than 1500lbs my truck sits half inch lower in the back with the trailer alone. There is a company online called partsgeek. they have the z71 springs for $67 pair. Gmpartsdirect has them for $115 or so if I remember...
I also had the air ride crap and the compressor ended up crapping out. I installed some aftermarket load leveling shocks(shocks with a coil spring around it). Towed maybe 4klbs trailer weight included now they sit lower, but I think I am going to get z71 springs to help the towing situation...
You could probably use some air shocks, something like this http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts/firestone_ride-rite_air_assist_kit/2161/firestonef364108rear.aspx?scid=SG010000&origin=pla&ST_SRC=PPC&gclid=CMOpy8_k1KwCFQ1x5QodszUEpw
I vote green. Think outside the box. I am going to paint mine a different color than black just not sure what color yet. If i had green hybrid decals on mine the calipers would be green.
I am in the process of changing mine out as well. I am just doing the doors and the sub. The doors should be 6 1/2. The sub is 8 inch if its equiped with the sub. If the grill is there I would guess it has the sub. Hope this helps.
I dont but i use it so i can listen to the music on my phone. The headunit i am putting in doesnt have aux in. But i found a way around it. My next question is there a pocket that will fit into that spot where the tape deck was???
Going to replace the stock radio cd player but i want to keep the tape player thats mounted lower in the dash. Will this be doable with the wiring kit that i need for the stock harness? Thanks in advance.
It will fit in any 4l60e trans thats in the tahoe. You souldnt have to grind the pin unless you install the super fourth too. I put one in my 02 with no problems.
