Finally took mine in. They said it's functioning as designed. :-( They took mine on the highway and noted cutout points, then took another truck from inventory out and noted that it cutout in the same spots. Piss poor. My Ford with Sirius had flawless reception.- dfelicia

What made you go with an SUV over a Truck?
Just sold my Raptor to get into a 2016 Yukon XL. What made me? A wife, three kids and a Golden Retriever who all want to be comfy when we travel and/or tow boat. Google showing me that GM = XM, Ford = Sirius. This is my first XM vehicle if that's true. Even though the companies merged, do they use different satellites, still? That would suck. Tints
Don't you guys have trouble driving at night with such dark tint? I matched my front to factory back, and I find turning onto side streets tricky if they aren't really well lit. Not that I couldn't see another car or anything, but I worry about there being a person or animal that I can't see... -

Went down and drove the Denali. It was loaded, bringing MSRP to 78k. That's too rich for my blood, even at invoice. (I get supplier pricing, which is about the same as invoice.) Honestly, compared to the 6.2 in my Raptor it was just OK in terms of power. It wasn't appreciably better than the 5.3...- dfelicia

Damn. Dealer's find fell through. No one can find me a black SLT with 2nd row buckets, heavy duty towing, 18" wheels. All the trucks have bench seats or no heavy towing. Argh. That is true. Confirmed with the dealer. Coming from a Raptor, though, the Denali is just to chromed-out for my taste. I want a more aggressive look, so am sticking to 18" wheels and as little chrome as possible. I'll probably wrap the window chrome in black vinyl to hide it. I do wish I could...- dfelicia

Ugh. No Yuk XLs anywhere that are black with heavy duty tow and 2nd row buckets. Seems like GM likes to pair heavy duty tow with bench seats. I'm gonna have to do a custom order, looks like. Since I get to pick out everything, anyone running the Borla catback? Worth $1k?- dfelicia

I haven't. I'm used to driving big, loud trucks. The Yukon drove more like a car - it was whisper quiet. No weird ear pressure or anything for me, though.
