    '16 Tahoe LT 1.5" ReadyLift

Looks great! I'm a big fan of that color. How do the Hankooks ride? Any future mods planned?

    New 2017 Tahoe's

I'm a bit disappointed with the newly available colors. Blue velvet is available on Camaros now. It's not bad, but it's kind of boring - I could see it looking good with chrome trim though. Pepperdust is just another name for granny gold. Wish GM would put colors as bold as victory red or...

    Lightly smoked tail lights?

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I might try Niteshades in light coats.

    Family vacation revelations

Glad to hear that balancing took most of the vibrations away. What makes you think your ball joints are done? Lots of play? I've used both Moog & Dorman ball joints (in other vehicles, never changed out the Suburban's cause I haven't owned it long) and had no issues with either brand.

Installation of Rough Country 2" Leveling Kit

Great write up, I am planning to do this in a few weeks. What was the increase in fender height? I know it's supposed to be 2", but I'm more interested in real world results.

THE WHAT WOULD YOU DO THREAD.

Sorry man but I am looking for LTZ wheels only. If you want though I can get in contact with you when I'm ready to sell the 22s. Denali looks great.

    Lightly smoked tail lights?

I saw a white diamond Tahoe on the highway the other day with very lightly smoked OEM tails, and honestly it looked great. I'm considering doing the same to my Suburban (also WDT). Thing is, most of the smoked tails I find are either non-OEM style or are way, way too dark. I like my OEM tails...

    Family vacation revelations

Hmmm, I also get vibration while braking at highway speeds, but oddly, it's only when going down a steep hill. I drive a mountain pass every weekend that's so steep the Suburban would be going nearly 100 by the time it levels off if I didn't brake. So naturally I brake down the hill to avoid Mr...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

How do you like the Airaid Jr.? Does it wake up the throttle a bit or is it more of a noisemaker?

    20" to 22" Wheels...

Don't get me wrong, I was pretty impressed with the ride even with the 22s. Believe it or not, my Suburban on 22s and Bridgestones rides smoother than my last half ton, a Nissan Armada, on 17s. It first had Nitto highway tires, then I swapped them out for Mickey Thompson A/Ts, and the Suburban...

6L80E, 150k, Unknown history, flush or pan drop?

    Door latch stuck?

Sure, so you can remove the knob by placing a tiny flathead or plastic trim tool on the latch and pushing down and pulling out a bit. When you get it off you can see the thread that's connected to the servo. To actually get to the servo though you'll have to remove the door panel. Try to...

    Throttle Body Cleaning

I just did this a few days ago on my 09. You can clean it the same as you would an older throttle body. It's a lot easier if you take the entire throttle body off - it's only one connector and 4 bolts. It's drive by wire, so the only precaution I took was to try to move the plate as little as...

    20" to 22" Wheels...

I'm planning to go the opposite way - 22s to 20s. I have Bridgestone Alenzas, highway tires, and yes, the ride is rough.

New Denali owner, a couple questions

Nice vehicles and nice Denali. I can't help with the gauges, but I'll take a shot at your other questions. I have noticed a small amount of rust on the underside of the liftgate, the bottom, the closest to the step pad. I think this is due to water pooling on the bumper/step pad, since there is...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Your Burb is my inspiration whenever someone gives me crap for buying/owning a "high mileage" vehicle (bought mine at 115k, now has 121k).

    Door latch stuck?

Might be worth checking out the door knob. On the knob, there is a small plastic latch that can be pried off with a tiny flathead screwdriver. The knobs ride on what's basically a threaded stud, and that latch is a plastic clip that holds them on the stud. I'm not sure how powerful the servo is...

THE WHAT WOULD YOU DO THREAD.

Thanks man. My main problem with the OEM 20s has actually been finding them at a decent price. I want this style, which is apparently pretty rare. They never show up on local craigslist. Every once in a while a genuine set pops up on Ebay, but generally for $1200+. Even replicas are $1000+. Not...

    GMC Customer Service Advice Needed

This post makes me want to inspect my trans cooler lines right away. Is it 2 lines from the transmission to the radiator or is there more to it? What are some signs of wear?
