What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I installed a Remin dash kit in my Denali today. Looks good, feels weird lol. Don't pay attention to the dirty truck. Picks were taken after install but before cleaning

Good call. Better install a second bolt in that hole on the bracket though

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yeah they are shorter. I had my OEM ones drilled out and then came across a post that a guy used these. They are perfect. Just barely touch at rest. You just knife the back to peel the mount out then pop them in. They are the same diameter and everything

Want to lower it just a bit - help me choose parts

If you run shock extenders, it's the same as running shorter shocks.

I love those headlights. I meant to ask...do they work as well as the clears?

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

They are direct fit. Just remember that LEDs are polarity specific so if you put them in and they don't light up, pull them out and reverse them.

Engine Replacement Advice, Calling all pros & Tony Stark

They're Facebook has good reviews. Maybe someone else will chime in. Another thing you should consider is having whomever you purchase through do any cam or head upgrades ahead of time if they will. I considered it but was under time constraints. These lq4 engines can pull way more power with...

Engine Replacement Advice, Calling all pros & Tony Stark

The term crate engine is usually used for a complete engine. Most long blocks do not have the intake manifold and other stuff. He is talking about buying a brand new engine from GM not a remanufactured one.

Engine Replacement Advice, Calling all pros & Tony Stark

You pay the 3700 and then you pay another 2500. You return the engine and you get your 2500 back. Shipping truck doesn't cost too much. When I ordered my reman from promar, the shipping both ways is included (in the US) and they don't charge you a core charge unless you do not send it back...

    Steering wheel lock

I'm not totally familiar with how the collums work because I haven't had mine apart so I can only speculate. I know that there is a sensor for steering position maybe they moved it and it's out of position

Engine Replacement Advice, Calling all pros & Tony Stark

Long block is basically a complete engine with heads and sometimes with some sheet metal. Short block is just the block with crank, pistons etc. I just dropped a remanufactured lq4 in my Denali a couple months ago. I looked at prices and reviews everywhere and went with a company on the East...

Thinking about buying a 03 Denali

Love mine. That being said.. The AWD is okay with maintenance The 4l65e trans is an upgrade from the 4l60e but still undersized for the 6.0 so don't beat on it. Some 6.0s prior to mid 04 eat cam bearings. Mine did it at 165k. The kids love the heated captains chairs in the back and I like the...

Front end gurus.. I need some advice

It does help control the mass of the larger wheels. It makes the steering smoother also. I wish there was a way to make the steering more stiff like a sports car. Our mini cooper has a sport button that makes the power steering feel like manual rack style for better corner feel.

Front end gurus.. I need some advice

I installed this KYB SS15326 Fits great except it's supposed to use an existing skid plate hole and the Denali uses a different skid plate so the hole isn't threaded. It's a straight through holes. I just put a longer bolt with a nut on the other end.
