    Power folding mirror stopped working

If I'm not mistaken, you have to replace the mirror because the motor for the power folding feature can not be serviced.

Thinking about changing up my wheels.

There's a place here in Houston that claims to have the 26" TX Edition wheels, so I'm switching if it legit. But I love those DUB wheels too! I like the black ones myself and go 26 for sure!

2008 suburban ltz key and fob $200???

The Key is easy if you have a set already. Order the key off EBay ($10 tops), got to lock smith and have them cut it ($3), 1. Get in your truck, close door, use your original key to turn the truck on and then off. Put your new key in the ignition and turn the truck on. Then your key is...

Looking at the AVH-4000NEX & needed advice

I was looking at the NEX4000 myself, but it only sales for $500 in Houston, TX. Should I be concerned? It's so new, that I doubt they are refurbs. $7-800 for that unit seems to be a bit on the high side

Looks good! I do agree, it needs to be lowered. I think you can get away with a 2/3

    CF Overlay

I say, just sand them and paint them. That's what I did. I did the carbon fiber overlay on my first truck and it was ok! I have to say that the door switches were a challenge. I just want to do something different with my new truck, so I painted all the trim to match the exterior...

    U2 55

I have 26's on my truck. Yes, they do rub a little when you're doing really sharp turns. Its rides a little rough, but I also have a 2/3 drop as well. I couldn't tell you how it would ride at factory ride height. But I can say this, they sure look good! Check out "My new Tahoe" album to get...

    Pioneer 5600BHS fitment

I was wondering what the catch with that head unit was because I've been seeing them for $340 in Houston. So is it a nice unit? I'll be streaming blue tooth as well

    Headers and cams

I've done a little research before I decided it was more than I wanted to spend. But for the cam swap on 6.0 and 5.3 engines, it requires afm/vvt delete. From what I was seeing was an additional 1000 bucks (installed) on top of the cam and header swap ($2200). Now if you are doing the install...

Best way to eliminate Active Fuel Management?

I bought a Hypertech tuner off Craigslist for $200. A handheld is probably going to be your best bet. You can get a used one pretty reasonable. It gives you the option to re-tune the truck if you chose to do so, cut off the AFM, or both. Just make sure that it's not married to another...

    26" tire brands experience.

I run the Delinte on mine. No issues at all, and they are a great price compared to the big name brands!

    Worth the effort?

I recently did mine and it wasn't hard. GM has gotten away from the hog-rings and is using velcro and a snap channel (if that makes since) mostly to secure the cover. The front seats are EASY! The second row was a little more difficult because I got lazy and didn't remove them from the truck...
