negotiating sale price with post bail-out GM

I bought my 2010 Denali new a year ago. Diff between new and a used 2010 with 10k miles (different dealer) was only $3k. But, I got a really good deal because it was a take it or leave it offer from me. I told them that's all I've got budgeted for a car. I researched their invoice costs on...

    Visitors!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly right. How do you think Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. get their info? There are automated bots (spiders) from all kinds of websites sniffing around the internet. Most of the time they are not malicious: they just read/follow down the web pages, create their searchable indexes, and follow...

OnStar -- Keep it or dump it?

I'm keeping mine because when I'm on vacation I use it constantly. I'm retired and I take month long driving vacations. I don't make reservations until the end of day...don't know where I will be staying. Onstar finds/connects with the hotel/motel, I make the reservation, Onstar...

Exactly why I went ahead and bought one with all the toys. I know I would be griping to myself why I didn't have this or that.

What does everyone think about the color of this '07 denali?

I like the color. Reminds me of the custom paint jobs on cars in the 60's when I was young. If you like it I say go for it.

    Too Soon For Synthetic?

You learned this where? I love these "I'm going to believe some rumor I heard from cousin Clem instead of relying on professional engineers with all kinds of college degrees, hundreds of years of combined experience and tens of thousands of hours of testing" threads. You really think...

Help on downshifting on downhill grade

I have an AWD 2010 Yukon Denali. I've put about 13k on it so far. All road miles on driving vacations. Not towing anything. Not sure of the right way to downshift and use the engine to brake when going down long grades. The manual says to use tow/haul mode but that is erratic to say the...

    Seeking opinions and Photos

What scientific studies? Most threads I've read on this subject say at the very least they protect your hood from rock chips. And these guys say they are 90% effective in deflecting bugs. http://www.pro3xpert.com/car-and-truck-accessories/bug-deflectors-for-trucks-cars/ I took a long trip...

    Dual Battery Sizes

I just asked the local GMC dealer to give me a price for this. Including labor, wiring harness, extra battery...$975. Said the last time they did it took half a day. They don't much like the idea of just the extra battery and a couple of cables.
