    Turnsignal weirdness

2004 Yukon Denali ... Old post with the same "new for me" problem. Right turn activates 4 way flashers. If those that have done this fix successfully please reply. I saw the response to replace 10383321 flasher. Apparently there are two flashers available, the other is 10383320. Anyone know the...

AWD Debris on Front Differential Magnetic Plug

Go to YouTube and search 8.25 IFS front diff rebuild. I think the guy is BroncoCarl. It a two parter and fun to watch. After seeing that one (plus other stuff online) Its a "can do" for a DIY guy.

    Best wheel hub assembly??

Koyo is a premium Japanese bearing. Timken bearings are sometimes outsourced (Poland, Australia). Both are high quality made to specific specifications with high quality steel. You can't really go wrong with either. Timken hubs (like the SP500300) are way higher than many others listed on the...

2005 Yukon Denali AWD - Transfer Case and Shock Help

I know this is an old post but for those that need to know ...you should have the NR3 code on build sheet so google 412-00581 and that is an awd transfer case. use same number on e-bay and it will lead to used or rebuilt transfer cases and parts. Its a little awkward getting out but not too bad...

    New Owner, New to Board

I look a lot at Ebay for used parts where cosmetic stuff is abundant. Lots of salvage yards use Ebay. You just need to know what it is you want. Going for fluid changes is (in my opinion) mandatory for recently acquired used vehicles. Delco filters are made by various manufactures using Delco...

    05 Denali Transmission leak

If you cannot find the source after wiping clean the current leak residue then you might consider a UV Fluorescent leak detection dye. You can find this dye on Amazon for sure and maybe at a local DIY retailer. You also need a UV light or a blue light flashlight (about $12). Helps to be in...

    New Hoe Owner. First debacle

I have the 6.0 but they both work similar. Mine had an intermittent fuel pump failure that was hard to get a pressure reading on. Loss of fuel pressure will get both codes but I discovered it has to get pretty low (under 10 psi) at idle to stumble. Look at YouTube and search "fuel trim 101"...

    Transfer Case ???

There is no rear transmission seal. The transfer case forward seal serves the purpose of sealing both trans and transfer case from each other.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Suppose you have already crossed this road by now. I did this a while ago. You will indeed need to drop the front driveshaft to access the shift linkage bolts and allow it to come (out of the way) and I also removed the rear transmission mount and lowered the trans slightly for the pan to come...

    Transfer Case ???

I would believe that could be part of the issue, however is there an explaination how the escaping oil from the transmission is getting into the transfer case? There is NO external oil leak. 8K miles ago I checked the fluid levels (transfer case incl) and at the fill hole is was just below the...

    Transfer Case ???

Hey boaterbob, Did you find resolve to this issue? Seems my 2004 Denali may have this issue now, At 188,500 I was changing transfer case oil. Took out the fill plug and oil came pouring out. Besides the spillage when draining I measured two quarts and 20 ounces. I refilled to overflowing 1.5...

Driver side power seat and heated seat failure

I believe I have my answer to the drivers side -dead seat- and -seat heater malfunction-. The 14 pin connector (see picture) bottom back under drivers seat caries the main orange and black power wires that many have spoken of. The orange wire (left side of connector) looks like its has been hot...

    Power seat issue

Mine 2004 Denali had the front tilt stuck in the lowest position. I was able to unbolt the jack screw, manually raise the seat up to the highest position, unscrew the jack screw to accommodate the new position and reinstall. Seemed the motor had thought it reached its high limit (sensor by...

Driver side power seat and heated seat failure

Well...that worked once. Dead again this time the fuse experiment did nothing. Since the drivers seat is dead and passenger seat works on adjustment, and both seat heaters are dead, its gotta be a power connection or the seat control module under the drivers seat. Looks like the control modules...

Heated seats and power not working...

I found the orange wire to have gotten hot on mine somehow affecting the connection. If I moved it , everything would work, move again everything stopped working. It looked OK (more or less) but I've been down the burnt connector route before.

Front A/C blows warm air on 2001 GMC Yukon XL

Is it blowing warm through all the vents or just the drivers side or passenger side? There are 3 actuators, one is easy two are buried inside the dash. Assume you meant blowing hot when its on a/c and should be blowing cold? I have been there so if you can explain in more detail perhaps I can...

Driver side power seat and heated seat failure

My problem is corrected. Looked at several forums with lots of ideas. Some seem pretty darn good, however this is what I did and mine is now working as intended. Who knows what the cause was but it seems cutting power to the control modules will sometimes reset them. Fix procedure: Under hood...

Driver side power seat and heated seat failure

Hi gang...my 04 Denali heated seats (front) and seat power function have both/all quit at same time. I haven't got into this yet but as I understand there is a memory seat module that controls the seats movement and heated seats as well as the memory foot pedals. The way I understood is if any...

    05 Yukon Ocassionally Won't start...just cranks.

I'm just sayin' yours sounds similar to mine. The only way I can think of checking this is a fuel pressure guage that you can monitor while driving to verify pressure on next stumble or stall. Sounds awkward, yes. Probably won't happen in your garage or driveway. Should you choose to replace...

2000 5.3 Yukon will start but won't run

See my Post "2004 Yukon 6.0 Engine Stall". I'll throw this out there...Your pump may be running intermediately. That'll give you a lean fuel trim (because its about to die) then the pump starts running again and so on. I bought an inexpensive fuel gauge tester (about $32) that reads 0-100 psi...
