You can hear all the things you want but the sound clips dont lie. Volume is the same between the two but the hooker has a better tone while the ultraflow is more noise then anything. I almost bought one and glad i didnt.

With cats, a dynomax bullet is the way to go. With headers, you better put a little more muffler on it cause it gets too loud.
Do not get that ultraflow over a Hooker Aerochamber. Go to Youtube and search, you see the aerochamber is the superior muffler. And yeah youre gonna need to weld it. Just take it to a muffler shop.
Even if you do the repair yourself, sometimes for hard diagnosis its worth it to get the proper one so you make just the needed repairs and nothing extra chasing a problem.

The older truck is 3 bolt TB, and the newer truck/tbss is 4 bolt TB. Then when they went to square port they look very similar so you would actually have to look at the port shapes.
BCM must be correctly vin coded or it will trigger vats. When my battery was doing similar i hit the dome light override button by the headlight switch and it magically stopped going dead.
I replaced mine with ACDelco and it would never go over half on the gauge even when the tank was full. It can be easily modified in the pcm tune, which is what i ended up doing.
ANY 07+ cathedral truck intake is the same as a tbss intake. TBSS just got it first so thats what everyone refers them as. Once the square port motors took over the intake remained looking the same but change port size, so just make sure its the earlier cathedral version.
