That’s probably what I’m goong to have to do is just buy hardened parts for mine and rebuild it. I plan on doing some suspension work on it one of these days so I want to make sure it can handle so abuse. Like long travel suspension and hustling A thru sand washes
Hummm interesting, post a picture I would like to see. The speakers I have could not be mounted on the metal itself because the magnet is to big.i would have liked it that way. I’m now not sure which speaker I’m going to go with. I also bought 2 old-school sets of Rockford Fosgate Power 6.5...
I was going to remove mine to but didn’t see any other support so changed my mind. Don’t need to take it out anyways I found out. I shrill have it in both my chevys. What I did do tho is pull out their AC control Then took a hacksaw blade and Trimmed down underneath the radio behind the AC...
I pulled 3 sets of 12 ga thru mine and it was a complete *****. I used all sky high car audio wire and it’s kind of like the blue wire you used. It’s s super soft case so it doesn’t slide across sit lol I had to take out the plug like in this photo and cut the factory speaker out and I ended up...
What’s up buddy, I noticed you didn’t get a single comment or any help on your post. That sure as fuck seem like that’s the way it goes when you ask something technical like that on here. If it’s not something joe blow can buy at Autozone or O’Reilly’s auto parts and swap out at home then...
Will that transfer case bolt up to the 4L60? I need to put a new T case In mine and I would prefer a stronger version if it’s out there. Wind it up to you what the NP246
try getting a set of lowering keys or stock keys off a hd2500. OVjust get in touch with the guy at atomic fab and rid the torsion bars all together and install a coil over
a lot of people make this seat swap harder then it needs to be. if you don’t want to mess with wiring and already have power seats then it’s simple, just swap the cushions out and leave your stock frame. it’s 2 10mm bolts under the front seat towards the front. in bolt the 2 nuts then lift the...
i have adriver side seat back in perfect condition in my garage thst i have been continplating throwing away because i’ll never need it. it’s grey cloth. if your not to far you can have it.
i do have to say tho i feel that the newer seats sit up higher. i feel like the original seats in my 02 went down a lot more the the 04 cadillac seats i replaced them with. i just did the interior in my 06 hd2500 and put seats out of a 04 escalade in it and it feels like it’s up a lot higher also
same truck so they bolt right in. wiring isn’t shit bit one power and one ground. the plug has like 10 wires to it but you only need 2 of them for all the functions work. even the lumbar will work off of just hooking up the power and ground.
what kind of lift kit is that? i just put a 6 inch pro comp on mine and it lowers the upper control arm and steering and i absolutely hate it
. it pretty much ruined my truck. i’m looking for the lift spindles off a 6”lift so i can put the uca’a sad steering back in It’s original location
have you had any problems with the pro comp lift? i just put a 6 inch on mine and i’m thinking of taking it back off. that upper control arm drop down set up is pure crap. i need a spindle style lift!
Added some Fosgate speakers. Made them fit under the factory screen. Fosgste is sending me an emblem to tske place of the Bose ones from the factory. Looks a lot cleaner this way then using the so called pods people buy on my opinion.
Selling my dash bezel off a 02 Escalade. They come grey and I just think they look horriablevthst way so mine has been custom painted satin black and looks 100% better. $150
I picked up a set of pads for a newer hellcat which runs 6 piston brembos. The metal backing is a little bit bigger towards the center so idk if it will hit or not but i can trim it if i need to. The rest looks the same other than the friction part. They’re only like three eights thick And the...
