Ya it looks like at least Thule has one for an 06 Escalade ESV. Also I just drove past a 07+ Yukon XL body style and it looked like it had the same roof rails and crossbar that I have.
I would really like a full length roof rack for my Denali to hold the over-sized spare for my lift. It has the factory vertical rails and the factory cross bars. Then I would like to attached a bike rack to the roof rack. Has anyone ever seen this setup before? I can't seem to find anything.
Ya it has brakes but I'm not sure I'm gonna get a brake controller since this is a 1time thing. I don't have the 07+ brake upgrade from stop tech. I got the towing version
I know the original ones weren't like that. I have also watched a few YouTube videos which also don't do that. However nothing is specific. I feel that completely flatting that rubber bushing is wrong.
Sorry I missed the Denali part. There are a bunch of air ride delete posts out there. You would only want to add an air ride system to level out the rear end and make a nicer ride will towing. Personally, with the Denali XL being so heavy, I'd go with the 5100's.
Unless you were towing I don't know why you'd want stiff ride on the rear and smoother ride on the front. Every time you went over a bump if you weren't towing it would like the front end down instead of absorbing the impact. The opposite would happen it you had a trailer on all the time, when...
I'm installing some new front shocks. How tight do I make the nut on the top bolt? I can suck it down and really crush the bushing, obviously I wouldn't do this. But how far down do I go?
Your not doing a conversation. Just a stand maintenance replacement. Bilstien 4600 are a great improvement over the factory ride and will provide a nice smooth ride for a long time. If you'd like something firm and better for towing and the occasional off-roading then the Bilstien 5100 are a...
I was looking at doing the tru cool 40k upgrade. In the past i have seen a thread where someone replace the factory style lines with AN fitting or something like that. I cant seem to find it. Does anyone have details on swapping the lines to a quick disconnect AN setup or something better that...
What is the best fuse to pull to disable my air ride? I am about to out a 6" lift on it and i wont be re-using the air ride suspension. I have read that i just need to pull a fuse, but its not clear what fuse panel and fuse i should pull. I pulled the rtd fuse from under the hood and i get a...
I know this was awhile ago... but who help you this the mangacharger purchase? I realize you didn't go that route. I'm stuck between turbo and roots supercharger and was interested in the 2300 supercharger.
I was able to look that up. I guess I like that route better. I'll talk to my local off road shops for pricing.
that makes a lot more sense now. Instead of dropping the rear bracket, is relocated the front with a lift bracket.
Where did you go for the 4l80e swap? What was the overall cost? Did you get a stock 4l80e or have one the was specially built? I'm in NorthTexas and looking to get the 4l80 swap done soon.
Not just bigger tires but an overall good high performing suspension lift system. Capable of being more that just a mall crawler but an actual good performing off-road rig.
what is the best lift kit to get maximum clearance? I don't really agree with differential drops. I want the most clearance possible and longer cv axles with high angle joints.
yesterday I had someone driving behind me who noticed that my Denali is leaning low on the passenger side. I've heard on the Chevy lean on the drivers side with the fuel tank and more weight being over there but never on the passenger side. Currently my front has more lean on the front passenger...
