    ID this please!

    It's the connection to the block heater. In place of one of the freeze plugs is a heating element. On the other end of that wire should be a 110v plug. Look around behind the drivers side headlight and grill. It's used to heat up the water in the block for warmer starts in the winter.

    Before pulling the fuel pump, replace the fuel filter. Try some Chevron Techtron injector cleaner too.

    Did you get under the truck? Spin the drive shaft. I have had a clicking sound from the back of my xfer case for years now. Not saying its a good thing.     I looked into the 1.6 and all my research showed that the slots on stock vortec heads for the pushrods need to be elongated. I have a set of full roller 1.5's from Scorpion i'm going to put in soon.

    Yup, used a new o-ring each time. Covered that sucker with MAP gas and no rise in idle. I do have the EFI LIVE scanner that I bought from Black Bear. Awesome tool and it's worth it because you can get more tunes which are included in the cost of the unit. Let me know what parameters are needed...

    Just meant that there was a go0od seal on the spider unit's o-ring. I replaced the upper and lower manifolds with new ones. I've tried everything and replaced everything to fix this issue. I want to drive this truck off a cliff.

    Hey all, I am starting to second guess myself here. I replaced the spider injectors and don't recall there being and o-rings for the injectors going into the bores of the manifold. In fact I know my unit didn't have any so I just inserted them until they were tight in the bore. Am I ok here...

    Yay! I ordered more stuff for the Yuk today!

    Order ARP stainless bolts for the vortec intake. The same thing happened to me! The bolts are worth it. Don't forget to put blue thread locker. Max torque on the bolts is 11 lbs. Use FELPRO MS98000T gasket kit. IMO these are the best intake gaskets.
