I have the same issure with mine. It is weird and I do not have an answer for it. Sometimes it will kick in too if I am turning into my driveway and on the brakes, I know my wheel isn't locked up so I do not understand it!
Are you just going for size? Are you going to be wheelin' this thing? It all depends on what you want to do. The '07+ trucks have square wheel wells which means you will never be able to stuff that big of a tire.

EBC Yellow Stuff pads are absolutely amazing, even with a stock rotor. Those are the only pad I would run on my Ram 2500 turning 40" tires and they were amazing.
Are the factory rotors prone to warping on the new body style suvs? I ask because I just bought a used burb and the rotors are...
