Nice! I'd like to start with just the arms and keys to get a nice 4'' drop up front and then do springs to get to 4'' in the rear. I think that would be a good stance and go to bags later. I'm trying to link up with Max to check out his truck and get some help with a kit and the install.
I've just never installed any drop kits before. Am I going to get some bad camber issues with dropping 3'' with the arms and then another inch with the keys? What do you recommend for the rear? I have air ride so just springs with shock extenders?
Are the 2500 keys what Max is selling? How much do the DJM control arms run and how complex is the install? I like the stance on your Hoe and that height would be nice on my Esky.
Is that 2/4 with spindles or keys? Could I do keys and then spindles up front as well? 4 in the rear would seem about right. I just wish I had someone in CO to help me out with install. Kinda sketched about doing it solo.
Let's get together with Max and go shred the snow! Haha more supposed to be coming this weekend. It's snowing pretty good up in Denver right now. Nothing too close to board to the Springs. To get to the good boarding is right around 2 hours from here. You guys hit me up if you wanna meet up and...
Mine is definitely a creak. It sounds like it's almost a braking issue but I've taken everything apart and don't see any reason for that. It happens when the front of the truck dips down while braking but only when going very slowly approaching a stop. I'll bring it to an auto repair place today...
Guys I am getting a creak out of my front left side when coming to a stop. Only when I'm going 10 and under it creaks pretty loudly. I know that it's not brake related do you think it could be a body mount? Bushing? Who should I go to check it out?
Okay Tony I need you to steer my right. I have an '05 Escalade ESV Platinum. My truck sits lower than normal ESV's already. I'm on 305/35/24's and want to drop the truck. How far can I drop it? 2/3 or 3/4? What do you recommend? What am I looking at for a Belltech kit to my door in Colorado...
Digging up an old thread here....what did you guys decide to do regarding rotor upgrade and what pads did you pair the rotors with? I'm going to be due for some brake work soon and I don't want to dump money into the garbage OEM parts. I'd like to upsize the rotors some so they don't look so...
Hey Tony,
I have an '05 Escalade ESV Platinum edition. I'm not sure how familiar you are with these trucks but they come lower than the factory ESV. If I were to do a 2/3 drop it would sit nearly on top of the wheels and that's the look I'm going for. What do I need for the kit? Shoot me the...
Are you really supposed to change the oil? How soon does that need to be done. I just foamed my truck today. I put mine through the intake tube right into the throttle body, if you look on Youtube Sea Foam has a channel and they said to deposit some right into the throttle body. I got a pretty...
For launches I'm assuming? Sorry for seeming so clueless with these. If it's used for launch purposes it must be similar to a launch control system then, something used to build revs to initiate harder launches?
Guys are the roll pans for 'Hoes and Yukons the same as Escalades? I'm dying to pan my '05 ESV but very few people do it. Do the pans work on both trucks?
Hey guys I'm jumping into uncharted territory chiming in here. I'm relatively new to the performance aspect of these motors and I'm having trouble specifying what a stall does.
Okay sweet thank you I will let you know what happens upon further investigation. Also, I should have consulted you guys first but I figured it would be similar to my truck so I just tried to "pop" the piece out like mine do and I cracked one of the sides. Where would the best place be to get a...
I'm considering getting a mail-in tune done from them right now I'm so glad I stumbled upon this! How good was the tune you got from them? What kind of gains did you see from it?
