    replacement shocks

Update I just wanted to post a follow-up to my earlier message. The RS9000 shocks did make a difference. The ride is better and so is the handling. My winter wheel/tires are 18 inch Escalade wheels with Bridgestone Duelers. Now, with the Ranchos, the truck rides better even with the...

    replacement shocks

Rancho RS9000XL's I finally junked the Autoride system on my 2001 Tahoe . Installed the Ranchos yesterday. Fronts are RS999265 and Rears are RS999262. I'm running 22 inch MB's and they are heavy. I set the fronts at setting 8 of 9 and left the rears at 5. So far I think the ride is...

    Eliminate Autoride Message light

What else does pulling the RTD fuse do? Thanks for the quick feedback!! I can't help but wonder what else is being disabled when the RTD fuse is pulled? Put another way, why would someone go to the trouble to "spoof" the Autoride controller even when the autoride shocks and sensors...

    Eliminate Autoride Message light

Can someone help me defeat the Autoride warning message on my 2001 Tahoe LT? I ditched the Autoride system for regular shocks. Arnott Industries sells a Coil Spring and Shock Conversion kit that includes something called a "Spoofer" that gets wired into the Autoride controller. Does...

2001 Tahoe LT Fuel Gauge acting up

Just throwing this out there -- The fuel gauge in my 2001 Tahoe (approx. 114K miles) has all of a sudden decided to act up. A fill-up sends the gauge to E and illuminates the LOW FUEL message. As fuel is consumed the gauge bounces around between E and the actual fuel quantity...

Genuine GM Parts - NBS LT Driving Lights

I'm looking for place to purchase both the LH and RH driving lights for my 2001 LT. Called the local GM dealer and was quoted $115.65 each + Tax. I think the dealer part numbers are: 15187251 and 15187252 respectively. Does anyone have a link to a source with lower prices? Thanks.

Where to get an SS bumper for a good price?

Oracal or 3M graphics adhesive Not sure if this is your thing, but I discarded the idea of doing an SS front bumper because of cost. Instead I used Krylon Fusion paint on my front valance and had a club member apply black Oracal graphic vinyl to my chrome bumpers. Here's a photo of the front...

    so i have a dilema

BB. I use a Diablo Predator on my 03 SVT Cobra. You can datalog and make some basic changes to timing, fuel and speed limiter stuff. Basically, it allows you to feel good about changing settings, etc. But... it has a lot of no-go zones and limits that keep you from wrecking your car's...

possible to fix factory head unit?

I would check Craig's List or eBay first. Look for a refurb second. I think fixing would be a risky proposition. I am really happy with the aftermarket system installed in my Tahoe -- Alpine. :Handshake:
