Well I'm assuming your truck being AWD your setup is similar to a NBS Denali/Escalade which is AWD the issues they have are bearings going bad along with other internal parts, it's generally an issue on trucks that haven't been well maintained but even ones that are have had the issue too, you'll hear a humming type sound from the front diff at 40-60mph, the rear diff doesn't have these issues that I've heard about, the transfer case has a clip that overtime breaks and causes a hole to rub in the transfer case there is an upgraded setup to deal with that (when they drain the transfer case they might say there was more fluid in it because there is a seal between the transmission & transfer case that can leak causing tranny fluid to get into the transfer case) on my Escalade I'm going to change out the front diff fluid every 1-2 years depending how much I drive it's cheap and easy enough to do
