i have a '99 2wd 4 door Tahoe that currently has 22" wheels. i have found the brakes SUCK. i have been looking into a big brake upgrade and have found $2300 is out of my price range, so i've been doing some research :). it seems the Grand Cherokee SRT8 uses 360mm x 32xx front rotors (14.2") with 4 piston Brembo calipers. it also seems the Cherokee has a 5 x127mm front lug pattern, just like the 2wd Tahoe/'Burban/C1500. i have a set of the calipers already, and i'm currently looking for a set of worn out Cherokee rotors (for test fitting purposes) and a worn out set of 2wd Tahoe rotors to cut down and turn into a hub. once i find these pieces i'll start mocking everything up so i can see what brake lines are needed, and what kind of bracket needs to be made for the calipers. anyone else looking into putting something like this together?
hopefully updates will come soon. it seems finding worn out SRT8 rotors is harder than i thought it would be.

hmm never knew that.. You can also use chevy 2500 truck calipers, which are bigger then the 1500s. try some powerslotted rotors, stainless lines, new fluid and some hawk or baer brake pads and you should be good. for under 500 bucks
