yes. the difference in the two vehicle exhaust system is in the muffler section.

The magnaflow people finally got back w/me via email. They say it won't; don't know if they're just being extra cautious. They say they have nothing for the 2 door. Do you know anybody that's successfully used on a 2 door?

The muffler on my 4 door is massive. I could turn it into a water tank. probably hold 30 gallons or so.

Hey Goldhawg,
I installed Magnaflow 45453, which is a California compliant direct fit cats on my 2 door couple of weeks ago. It bolted right up to the manifold and
muffler.

I know this is not exactly the same part but I don't see why it won't fit.

Any chance you have some pics? What muffler did you go with? I'm trying to piece together a complete SS exhaust for my 2 door since I live in Ohio w/salt. Gibson has an over the axle 3" pipe I can buy. Looking for a high performance relatively quiet muffler. I've heard Gibson's muffler is a little louder, although their sales agent said its one of the quieter ones. And if this cat set up works, might go with it.

Here are some pics of the cats.

Just out of the box

Assembly comes in two pieces with all the gaskets and band clamp.

Old and new

As you can see, they're same dimension.

Installed

Install was straight forward but was time consuming. There is a video in Magnaflow site on the install. If you have a sawz-all, use it as in the video. I loaned out mine and couldn't get it back in time for the install. Wound up dropping the trans crossmember.

Everything bolted right up from manifold to muffler flange at rear.
As for the muffler, I'm still running the stocker. I was also thinking to get the Gibson set up. Other option is Flowmaster but I'm not a big fan of Flowmaster. Let us know how you like the Gibson when you get it.
Choice is limited for us 2 door guys.

As sunlit mentioned above, same part. Only us Califronians get to pay 300 more bucks for the "heavy metals" in the cats....ahhh the cost of living in CA.

If you need more pics, let me know.
Oh, BTW, these things are soooo worth the money and effort to install.

Sorry for delayed reply, I was away for the weekend for my b-day.

Good luck.
