What's this no plug to drain radiator? Do you crack open top hose and use one of them hand pumps to get antifreeze out?

You can do that to attempt not to make a mess but it probably still will make a mess. I just put a drain pan underneath and pull the lower hose.

After learning the benefits and the mess of pulling the lwr hose I still do that. I've always wondered if drain valves would reseal properly and the hose is easy to be sure it seals.

What a mess it makes draining. Hate that.

Last guy owned my 2006 Yukon XL put in line flush in heater hose wonder if it work with hand pump to get all antifreeze out there .
Still haven't figured out that non messy way. [emoji849][emoji848]

Here's how I did it they have these bendable mats to redirect draining fluid I bought one and had some hold it under lower hose under wheel well while I was on top slowly letting coolant drain out holding the hose so only bit came out took about 10 mins but no mess .[emoji106] I will get picture of bendable mat .
